Scope of works
What we built.
The Government of Sri Lanka is implementing the Integrated Road Investment Program (i-Road to improve the connectivity between rural communities and socioeconomic centers by improving the transport efficiency on selected national, provincial and local roads.
Under the second i-Road Program, government will improve the accessibility of the road network in Sri Lanka's rural areas, and thereby increase the involvement of the rural population in nationwide economic and social development.
MO-01 package that is constructed under ‘AMSK – CGGC Joint Venture’ concerns on the rehabilitation of 63.76 Km of rural roads in Monaragala District.
The main construction key activities are Clearing and grubbing works, Roadway Excavation, Sub Base Construction, Earthen of Road Shoulders, Dense Graded Aggregate Base Course, Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course, RCC drainage, RCC culverts, Road Marking and Other Incidental Works.
