About AMSK
From subcontractor to one of Sri Lanka's most-graded contractors.
AMSK Constructions (Pvt) Ltd. was incorporated on 15th January 2002. Over the next two decades we built our way from a small subcontractor of Keangnam Enterprises into a CIDA CS-1 graded contractor with 1,500+ team members, 25+ delivered projects, and four owned batching plants.
Our founding
A long journey from small beginnings.
AMSK commenced operations at the turn of the 21st century as a subcontractor of the once-celebrated Korean construction firm Keangnam Enterprises. Word travelled quickly through the local construction community: AMSK delivered on time, to specification, with workmanship that impressed even the most demanding employers.
By the late 2000s, Keangnam Enterprises Limited and China Harbour Engineering Company Limited had assigned AMSK as their nominated main subcontractor for major building and highway construction projects with contract prices exceeding LKR 1,800 million cumulatively.
With that momentum, the Managing Director made the decision to compete directly in the public procurement scene. AMSK became one of the few construction organizations to obtain CIDA Grade C-1 on the first attempt, without progressing through lower grades. The supra-grade CS-1 for highway construction followed.

Self-performed plant + machinery
Our concrete batching plants, asphalt plants, large-scale crushers, fleet of vehicles and full-service workshops keep every step of the build under our own control. The timeline stays in our hands.
Engineering depth
Over 300 professionally qualified Chartered Engineers, Surveyors, Technical Officers and Quantity Surveyors. A design-and-build capability that lets us undertake integrated procurement contracts, not just traditional tendered scope.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to AMSK Constructions, a dynamic and multiple-award-winning organization specialized in the construction of highways, multi-storied building complexes, bridges, hydropower plants, irrigation structures and other civil disciplines.
From humble beginnings as a small but ambitious subcontractor, we have come a long way and accomplished several significant milestones along the journey, some of them ground-breaking achievements within Sri Lanka. Looking back at the transformation we have gone through, I am humbled by the support we have received from the Road Development Authority, the Urban Development Authority, and from international construction giants such as China Harbour Engineering and Keangnam.
Today AMSK is not only a widely renowned civil contractor in Sri Lanka but also a force of international identity, generating over 1,500 employment opportunities and contributing to the national economy through total quality management, environmentally responsible construction, and a matured approach to corporate social responsibility. We must embrace change through leadership, courage, commitment, and open culture, and I believe that change demands trust and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
